Casey McLean has been ruled out of State of Origin game 2 with a quad strain. The 20 year old impressed off the bench in game 1, coming on for an injured Tolu Koula.

This change will likely see Mark Nawaqanitawase make his debut, with Koula likely shifting to his native centre position to allow Nawaqanitawase to shift onto the wing.

Dolphins centre Jack Bostock has been called into camp as a replacement. Bostock has been a great form since shifting into the centres post-ACL injury for the Dolphins.

In other injury news, Mitchell Moses looks to set be fit in time for game 2.

He will partner Nathan Cleary in the halves in what could be a deadly combination for the Blues.
