It's Getting Real in Madrid, Cucurella and Silva to Sign! Transfer News

In transfer news, a huge shock as Chelsea fullback Marc Cucurella is set to sign for Real Madrid. It was reported that Madrid were interested in a left back, but this is out of nowhere.

Fabrizio Romano reports it will be a 6 year deal, with Real Madrid paying a package worth nearly £52m. Chelsea bought Cucurella off Brighton 4 years ago for £63m.

Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva also has agreed a deal to sign with Real Madrid, passing up potential deals at Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

He will join on a free deal, in addition to Ibrahima Konate who joins from Liverpool also for free. Madrid are looking scary right now, also securing Inter Milan fullback Denzel Dumfries.

In other transfer news, Raul Jimenez has rejoined Wolves on a free transfer from Fulham. A cult figure at Wolves, this signing has gone down well with the supporters unlike Kieran Trippier.

Trippier joined Wolves only a week ago, with Wolves sacking manager Rob Edwards just days after his arrival. Trippier is reported to be considering leaving already due to Edwards sacking.

Fellow relegation side Burnley, has also signed Benfica midfielder Florentino on a permanent deal for £20m. Florentino appeared 31 in the EPL for Burnley last season.

Almost relegated side Tottenham have added another key player to their defence, signing Marcos Senesi on a free transfer from Bournemouth.

Senesi was a key player for Bournemouth last season after the departure of Illia Zabarnyi and Dean Huijsen, Senesi leaving Bournemouth who qualified for Europe to play back up at Tottenham.

Newcastle have opted not to sign Aaron Ramsdale on a permanent deal, instead opting to invest in 20 year old French keeper Ewen Jaouen who has signed from Reims on a 5 year deal worth £18.5m.
