Qatar v Switzerland

A tough opening game for Qatar, Switzerland are clear favourites to win this game. Their experience and quality on the ball should prove too much for Qatar who have a tendency to get overwhelmed and sit with a low block.

Trying to hold the Swiss side out will likely prove too much for last World Cups hosts, with the possession, physicality, and pressure proving too much.

Tip - Switzerland win 2-0
Goal Scorer Tip - Ruben Vargas

Brazil v Morocco

A great early matchup in this World Cup, these 2 sides are top quality. With the bad news for Morocco overnight with the news that Abde Ezzalzouli and Nayef Aguerd have been ruled out with injury, puts Brazil as favourites in this one.

Morocco will need to try and utilise wide options as that's the weak point in this Brazil team. For Brazil they need to stay composed and draw in the attacking fullbacks of Morocco and hit them in behind using the pace and quality of their attackers.

Tip - Brazil win 3-1
Goal Scorer Tip - Vinicius Jr

Haiti v Scotland

A potential dark horse, Scotland have a massive opportunity to grab 3 points against a much weaker Haiti team. The Scottish fans always deliver, this should inspire Scotland to victory in game 1.

You should expect to see Scotland peppering the Haiti goal from all over the pitch and should come out firing from the starting whistle.

Tip - Scotland win 2-0
Goal Scorer Tip - John McGinn

Australia v Turkiye

A real chance to see what this Turkish side has on offer. The Socceroos will back their defensive block to hold out Turkiye, using fast attackers to hit on the counter, as well as utilising set pieces with the likes of Harry Souttar and Cameron Burgess as big men in the box.

Where Australia could come undone is being overly defensive and not getting enough ball in Turkiye's half and failing to put adequate pressure on them.

Turkiye will fancy their chances, and if they fail break down Australia's back 5, don't be surprised if Arda Guler and Kenan Yildiz start shooting from distance to break the deadlock.

Tip - Turkiye wins 1-0
Goal Scorer Tip - Kenan Yildiz
