Matchday 7 has got some of the hardest games to predict of the season so far!

Chelsea face a difficult trip to Everton, Liverpool travel to Brentford and Manchester City host Ipswich Town. Sunday brings a heated south-coast derby between Brighton and Crystal Palace, while Leeds welcome Manchester United in one of the weekend's most intriguing fixtures.

Arsenal will also be looking to take three points from Nottingham Forest before Tottenham round off the matchday against Coventry City on Monday night.

Here are my predictions for every Premier League fixture in Matchday 7.

Everton 2-3 Chelsea

Chelsea could be involved in one of the weekend's most entertaining games as they travel to face Everton. The hosts should make life difficult for the visitors, particularly with home advantage, but Chelsea have enough attacking quality to find a way through off a 5-goal haul against Bournemouth.

Everton are capable of scoring more than once, but Chelsea's attacking options could prove decisive in a close contest. Expect an open game with chances at both ends. This one is a tough one to call, but if Chelsea manage to go ahead, Everton's typically rigid defensive structure could change, opening up the game to several goals.

Fulham 1-1 Hull City

This could be a closely fought encounter, with Fulham looking to make home advantage count against a Hull side eager to prove they belong in the Premier League.

Fulham should have opportunities to take control, but Hull could make things uncomfortable if they remain organised and take their chances. Neither side may do quite enough to claim all three points.

Another tough one to pick with Alvaro Arbeloa's job potentially on the line already. Huge game for Fulham they desperately need a win, but Hull have looked the better side this season so far.

Manchester City 3-0 Ipswich Town

Manchester City will be strong favourites at home against Ipswich. City have the quality to dominate possession, create regular chances and put the visitors under sustained pressure.

Ipswich will need a disciplined defensive performance to stay in the contest, but City's attacking depth should eventually tell. A clean sheet and a comfortable home victory look likely.

Brentford 2-2 Liverpool

Liverpool face a potentially tricky afternoon away to Brentford. The home side can make life difficult for visiting teams, and this has the makings of an entertaining encounter. Brentford are yet to lose a game and have four draws to their name already this season.

Liverpool should create plenty of chances, but Brentford have the potential to punish defensive mistakes and keep the pressure on. Both teams could find the net twice in a high-energy draw. Yet another tricky game to tip a winner.

Newcastle United 2-2 Aston Villa

Newcastle and Aston Villa meet in what could be one of the closest games of the round. Both sides have the attacking quality to cause problems, making it difficult to confidently back either team for victory.

Newcastle will look to use their home advantage, while Villa should have enough going forward to respond. A competitive game with goals at both ends could finish level.

Newcastle are off a poor loss 4-1 to Coventry despite creating many chances in the game. Villa are just starting to get themselves together after a tough start to the season, but Newcastle have been good at responding to a poor result under Matthias Jaissle.

Bournemouth 1-1 Sunderland

Bournemouth will hope to make the most of playing at home against a fellow struggling side, but Sunderland could prove stubborn opponents. This has the potential to be a tight contest in which neither side finds it easy to create clear chances.

Bournemouth may have spells of pressure, while Sunderland should have opportunities of their own. A point apiece looks a reasonable outcome, and without Alex Scott the Cherries could face a longer wait for their first three points of the campaign.

Brighton 3-1 Crystal Palace

The south-coast derby is one of Sunday's standout fixtures, with Brighton looking to take bragging rights against their rivals.

Brighton have the potential to create problems through their attacking play, and they could find joy if they move the ball quickly and stretch Palace's defence. Palace should still pose a threat, but Brighton could have enough firepower to secure an important victory and have started the season so impressively.

Leeds United 2-1 Manchester United

Leeds against Manchester United is one of the weekend's biggest talking points. The atmosphere at Elland Road should give Leeds a lift, and they will be determined to make the most of home advantage.

United have the quality to score despite their best efforts to prove otherwise so far this season., Leeds could make this an uncomfortable afternoon through their energy and intensity, and go into this game as favourites. This game should get feisty, especially if United go behind in the derby, with manager under pressure, and with all the talk around the owners of the club.

Nottingham Forest 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal will travel to Nottingham Forest looking to take all three points and maintain their challenge near the top of the table.

Forest could make the game competitive, but Arsenal have the quality to control proceedings and create the better chances. If the visitors remain patient and take their opportunities, they should have enough to leave with a clean sheet and a comfortable win.

Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Coventry City

Tottenham close out Matchday 7 when they host Coventry City on Monday night. Spurs will be expected to take the initiative, but Coventry will be keen to make the most of their opportunity off the back of consecutive wins.

Coventry could cause problems if they take their chances, yet Tottenham's individual quality should give them the edge. It may not be straightforward, but Spurs are tipped to finish the matchday with their first three points. If they can't beat Coventry at home, who on earth can they beat.
