Round 5 of the Premier League is here, with plenty of intriguing matchups across the weekend.

Arsenal and Manchester City are the only sides to have won all four of their opening games, while several big clubs are already looking to find consistency. Liverpool have dropped points in their last two league games, Chelsea were held by Hull, and Tottenham are still searching for their first league goal of the season.

Brentford 2-1 Chelsea

Chelsea haven't had the perfect start, but they have shown plenty of attacking quality. Their 2-2 draw with Hull last weekend highlighted some defensive concerns, with Brentford starting the season in red hot form. This one could go either way, but Brentford are more than capable of beating the leagues top sides.

Tottenham 1-1 Aston Villa

Tottenham's start has been one of the biggest talking points of the opening month, with Spurs still without a league goal after four games. Aston Villa haven't exactly started strongly either, making this a difficult game to call.

Surely Spurs to finally find the net, but Villa should have enough to leave London with a point. Both teams suck right now, but this opens up a huge opportunity for both sides to finally get 3 points.

Everton 2-1 Ipswich

Everton remain unbeaten after their opening four matches and have looked difficult to break down. Ipswich produced one of the results of Round 4 by beating Crystal Palace 3-2, but Everton at home presents a different challenge.

I am backing the Toffees to continue their strong start, and edge this one in a tight contest.

Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

Arsenal have won all four of their league matches so far and currently sit top of the Premier League. Brighton will provide a huge test, but Mikel Arteta's side have already shown they can win games without needing to dominate the scoreline. If Arsenal can keep that clean sheet I am expecting another tight Arsenal victory.

Newcastle 2-1 Hull

Hull have made an excellent start to life back in the Premier League and remain unbeaten after four games, including their impressive draw at Chelsea.

Newcastle, however, have the home advantage and are in need of a victory off the back of a heavy Leeds defeat. Matthias Jaissle seems very driven and should've given his side a lot of heat during the week, and could be ready to hand Hull their first defeat.

Nottingham Forest 2-0 Coventry

Forest head into this one after an impressive victory over Aston Villa last weekend. Coventry, meanwhile, face one of the toughest away trips in the division.

Coventry have been very poor, so I am backing Forest to control the game and pick up another three points.

Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool

Liverpool have been held to draws in their last two league games, including a goalless draw with Fulham at Anfield.

They'll be looking for a response against Bournemouth, who have also had a frustrating start to the campaign. Liverpool have enough quality to get back to winning ways, but I expect Bournemouth to make them work for it. This one should be a close game.

Manchester City 2-0 Sunderland

Manchester City come into this match after beating Manchester United in the derby and look to be building momentum.

Sunderland have shown they can compete at this level, but City should have too much quality at home for Sunderland.

Leeds 3-1 Crystal Palace

Leeds have made an encouraging start to the season and should fancy their chances against a Palace side that suffered a home defeat to Ipswich last weekend.

With home advantage, I am expecting Leeds to produce one of the higher-scoring wins of the round, continuing their early season form.

Fulham 2-1 Manchester United

Manchester United will be desperate for a response after their derby defeat, but Fulham have already shown they can make life difficult for the league's biggest sides.

Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by Fulham at Anfield last weekend, and we're expecting another competitive match here.

United have more than enough quality up top to score, but I am tipping Fulham to edge it after United's poor loss to Brighton in the Carabao Cup.
