2026 World Cup Semi-Final Predictions: Who Will Reach the Final?
Is it coming home for England, or can Argentina win another World Cup?

The 2026 FIFA World Cup has reached the semi-final stage, with four of world football’s biggest nations remaining.
France face Spain in a blockbuster all-European clash, while England take on defending champions Argentina for a place in the World Cup final.
Prediction: France to win 3-1

France have been our number-one ranked team from pre-tournament, and remain our favourites to win the World Cup.
Spain have produced an excellent tournament and will provide France with their toughest test yet, but the quality and depth of the French attack could prove decisive.
With Kylian Mbappe, Michael Olise, Ousmane Dembele are among the attacking threats at their disposal, France have the firepower to punish Spain and book their place in the final, despite Spain's world class defence so far.
We expect an entertaining contest with chances at both ends, but France to ultimately pull away and secure a 3-1 victory.
England 1-1 Argentina, England to Win on Penalties

England against Argentina. It does not get much bigger than this, a Falklands derby.
These two footballing giants will meet with a place in the World Cup final on the line, and we expect this one to go all the way.
England were pushed into extra time by Norway in the quarter-finals, with Jude Bellingham producing the decisive moments to send them through. Argentina, meanwhile, enter the semi-final with the experience of winning the 2022 World Cup and will be incredibly difficult to eliminate.
We expect a tense, closely fought contest with very little separating the two sides after 120 minutes, both sides still have another gear, but have showed weaknesses throughout the tournament.
At 1-1, the match will be decided from the penalty spot, with England to hold their nerve and reach the World Cup final.
