Meaning 2/3 of their purchases under Boehly has been poor.

The 3 biggest hits for Boehly have been Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, and Moises Caicedo. It is not hard to understand why.

He was willing to pay the big bucks for EPL proven talent, therefore making it less of a risk to sign them, knowing they're fimilair with the league and the country. Which is often overlooked as a significant factor at settling in at a new club.

The 3 big misses under Boehly have been Mykhailo Mudryk, Wesley Fofana, and Liam Delap. A whopping £194 million was spent between those 3 players alone.

How can Chelsea can turn things around next season?

  1. Sell deadwood, get as much money as possible for players there making up the number

  2. Build the squad around settled talent, Palmer, James, Pedro. Base the club vision around committed and talented players

  3. Invest in Prem proven talent, that has been a good recipe for success
