UEFA has confirmed the stadiums that will host the 2028 and 2029 Champions League finals, with two of Europe's most iconic stadiums set to stage the biggest night in European club football.

The Allianz Arena in Munich will host the 2028 final, before the renovated Camp Nou in Barcelona takes centre stage in 2029.

The decisions give fans an early look at where the Champions League trophy will be lifted over the next few years, following this season's final in Madrid.

2028 — Allianz Arena, Munich

The 2028 Champions League final will return to the Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich.

Munich was the only candidate to submit a bid for the 2028 Champions League final, with UEFA confirming the German city as the host.

It will be another Champions League final for a stadium that has already hosted some of European football's biggest occasions.

The Allianz Arena previously staged the 2012 final, when Chelsea defeated Bayern Munich on penalties, and hosted the 2025 final, when Paris Saint-Germain beat Inter Milan 5-0 to claim their first Champions League trophy.

That means the 2028 final will be the third Champions League final at the Allianz Arena in 16 years.

For Bayern, there is an interesting twist: the club has lost both previous Champions League finals played at its home stadium.

2029 — Camp Nou, Barcelona

The 2029 final will be held at Camp Nou, giving Barcelona's famous stadium another opportunity to host European football's biggest club match.

The stadium beat Wembley for the right to stage the 2029 final.

The decision is particularly significant because Camp Nou is currently undergoing a massive redevelopment.

Once completed, the renovated stadium is expected to have a capacity of approximately 105,000, making it one of the largest football stadiums in Europe.

It will also be the first Champions League final at the stadium since 1999, when Manchester United produced one of the most dramatic comebacks in European Cup history by scoring twice in stoppage time to defeat Bayern Munich 2-1.

Camp Nou has previously hosted Champions League finals in 1989 and 1999, meaning 2029 will mark its third time staging the showpiece.

What about this season?

Before Munich and Barcelona take their turns, the 2026/27 Champions League final will be played at Atletico Madrid's Estadio Metropolitano on 5 June 2027.

It will be the second Champions League final at the stadium, following the 2019 final when Liverpool defeated Tottenham 2-0.

The Metropolitano holds around 70,000 spectators and has been Atlético's home since 2017.

That gives UEFA a fascinating run of final venues:

2026 — Puskas Arena, Budapest
2027 — Estadio Metropolitano, Madrid
2028 — Allianz Arena, Munich
2029 — Camp Nou, Barcelona
